Trevor Gould, a vibrant presence in the trumpet world, holds a Master's degree in Trumpet and Jazz. He brings a fresh and contemporary approach to stages throughout the Midwest, captivating audiences with his dynamic performances. With his versatility spanning various musical styles, Trevor is driven by a passion to unite musicians and push the boundaries of musical expression, propelling the trumpet into new realms of creativity.

As a devoted teacher, Trevor molds aspiring musicians into greatness, imparting profound insights and shaping them into exceptional artists. Trevor leads the way in redefining the modern landscape of trumpet playing and nurturing the next generation of extraordinary musicians.

Trevor Gould is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 2019. During his time there, he studied under the guidance of Dr. Gary Barrow and Dr. TJ Perry. Subsequently, Trevor pursued further studies at Illinois State University, where he had the opportunity to learn from esteemed professors such as Dr. Amy Gilreath, Dr. Anne McNamara, Dr. Paul Nolen, and Dr. Tom Marko. He successfully completed Master's degrees in both Trumpet Performance and Jazz Performance. Currently, Trevor serves as the auditorium director and instrument manager for the ISU School of Music. 

During his time as a student, Trevor Gould assumed various responsibilities and roles. These included serving as a recording technician, trumpet section leader, wind ensemble section leader, lead trumpet in jazz ensembles, member of a graduate brass quintet, and trumpeter in the symphony orchestra. Additionally, he held the position of president in the trumpet club on campus and actively contributed to the daily routines of the trumpet studio. Trevor is an engaged member of the International Trumpet Guild, actively participating in its activities. Furthermore, he continues to perform with a local Funk Band and has attended conferences worldwide, including Orvieto Musica, Brass Junkies Brass Talks, Midwest Trumpet Festival, ITG conference, and the National Trumpet Competition.

Over the course of his 12-year teaching career, Trevor has cultivated a teaching philosophy that centers around three principles: "Know your stuff; know who you're stuffing; and stuff 'em." Drawing on his expertise in the field, Trevor prioritizes understanding his students' individual needs to facilitate their success. As a result, a diverse range of Trevor's students have achieved notable accomplishments, including participation in Arkansas and Illinois All-State programs, success in national-level competitions, and pursuing their own music careers.
